Refund Policy

NCCBAM is committed to clear, fair, and timely handling of refunds and fee collections. Please read the policy below carefully. Refunds described here are applied to the payment received for board certifications, courses, and related fees unless otherwise stated.

Refund Tiers (applied to the payment amount)

Within 7 days of payment 100% refund (minus processing fee) Full refund available if requested within 7 days.
After 7 days up to 15 days 50% refund (minus processing fee) Withdrawal during this period is eligible for 50% refund.
After 15 days up to 30 days 25% refund (minus processing fee) Partial refund as specified by policy.
After 30 days No refund Refunds are not available after 30 days from payment.

Processing fee: All refunds are subject to a processing fee which covers bank/transaction charges. The processing fee amount varies depending on the original payment method and processor. The final refund credited will be the eligible percentage (as above) minus the processing fee.

Certification & Late Fees
Board certification renewal fee $150
Late fee (within 3 months after expiry) $50
Late fee (within 4–6 months after expiry) $100
Full reinstatement fee (after 6 months) $250

Fees above are charged in addition to any standard renewal payment. If a member chooses reinstatement after prolonged lapse, the full reinstatement fee applies.

How to Request a Refund
  1. Send a refund request email to info@nccbam.org with:
    • Full name and contact details
    • Transaction ID / Order number
    • Date of payment
    • Reason for withdrawal
  2. We will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days and start processing your request.
  3. Refunds (if approved) will be returned via the original payment method where possible. Bank transfer refunds may take additional time depending on banking partners.

NCCBAM reserves the right to request additional documentation to validate a refund claim.

Additional Terms & Conditions
  • Refund eligibility is calculated from the original payment date.
  • Promotional discounts, scholarships, or coupons may affect refundable amounts — the refundable portion will be calculated on the net paid amount after discounts.
  • If a third-party vendor (payment gateway) imposes non-reversible charges, those charges may be deducted from the refund.
  • NCCBAM reserves the right to update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with the updated "Last updated" date.
